This summer, I’m offering limited Mayfield Lavender Photoshoots—short, relaxed sessions designed to capture natural, beautiful portraits of your children and family in one of London’s most magical summer locations.

📅 Dates: Friday 12th July and Saturday 13th July
🕒 Times: 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, and 17:00
📸 Session Length: 30 minutes

Each session is thoughtfully timed to ensure the best light and a relaxed flow that brings out authentic moments. These are short and child-friendly sessions—ideal for busy families looking to update their portraits with minimal fuss.
Please note: There are only 4 Mayfield lavender photoshoots available per day. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Entrance Tickets & Parking
Please note that Mayfield Lavender Farm requires an entrance fee of £5 per adult. Children under 14 go free. This fee is not included in the session price and is payable directly at the gate.
There is a free car park available at the farm for visitors.

What If It Rains?
British weather is famously unpredictable—even in July. Because forecasts are often unreliable more than a day in advance, in case of the rain I will get in touch with all booked clients around midday on the day of the session to confirm whether Mayfield Lavender Photoshoots are going ahead as planned or need to be rescheduled.
If heavy rain or poor conditions make it impossible for Mayfield lavender photoshoots to go ahead on your booked date, we will move your session to a backup date in July (depending on availability of the field and weather). If you cannot attend the rescheduled session, your deposit can be transferred to a regular session (either in the studio or outdoors), or held as credit toward a future shoot.
A light drizzle or cloudy day isn’t necessarily a reason to cancel Mayfield Lavender Photoshoots — soft overcast light can actually be beautiful for portraits.

Sunset Sessions
In addition to my lavender mini shoots, I am also excited to offer regular lavender sessions at sunset. These sunset sessions provide a unique opportunity to capture the stunning beauty of the lavender fields bathed in the warm, golden light of the setting sun.
Sunset sessions take place between 7 PM and 9 PM, offering a perfect window for creating truly magical and breathtaking photographs.
For these exclusive sessions, private field hire is required as Mayfield Lavender Farm closes at 6 PM. The cost for private hire is £150, which guarantees that you have the beautiful lavender fields all to yourself during your session.

Who can book a session?
These sessions are suitable for babies over 7 months, toddlers, siblings, families and maternity portraits.
What should we wear?
Light, neutral tones always work best with lavender. Avoid heavy patterns and logos. I’ll provide guidance during your pre-session consultation.
Can we bring grandparents or extended family?
These sessions are designed for immediate family only (up to 5 people). If you would like to include grandparents, a double session may be required.
Can we bring a pet?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the lavender fields.
How many photos will we get?
Your session includes 5 high-resolution digital images and 5 prints. You will also receive access to a private gallery with the option to purchase additional images and products.
Can I book more than one slot?
Yes, subject to availability. This is recommended for larger families or if you’re looking for more variety and time.
