When to Book Your London Newborn Photoshoot
The best time to book your London newborn photography session is just after your 20-week scan. Booking early ensures availability around your due date and allows time to plan your session in detail. I usually schedule newborn sessions for the first 14 days after birth — when babies are sleepiest and most easily settled into those naturally curled-up poses we all love. But if your baby is already here and you’ve missed that early window, don’t worry — I’m always happy to photograph older newborns too. Beautiful, meaningful images can be created at any stage in those early weeks.

The session will include a variety of poses, including solo baby portraits, parent and baby shots, and sibling portraits if you have older children. I take a gentle, baby-led approach, working at a pace that suits your newborn and capturing natural interactions and emotions. My focus is on creating a calm and nurturing environment where your family can simply enjoy being together.
From Camera to Keepsake
After your London newborn photography session, I carefully select and edit the best images — a process that typically takes 3–6 weeks, depending on my workload. Each photograph is thoughtfully refined to enhance its natural beauty while keeping the look authentic and timeless.
Once your gallery is ready, you’ll receive access to a private online space where you can view and choose your favourite images. You’ll also have the option to select from bespoke albums and wall art to display your portraits — beautiful keepsakes to treasure in your home.
