Kids Photography London Sessions
When it comes to older kids I try to schedule an outdoor photo shoot (weather permitted) rather than a studio session. There is a reason for that. Children treat it as their play time out in the park and often do not even realise they have their pictures taken and behave as natural as usual allowing me to capture their genuine looks. I do have a few favourite London spots which make a wonderful setting for kids’ photography.
As a great lover of natural light, I schedule kids photography London sessions either early in the morning to avoid harsh midday light or late in the afternoon, at around sunset to make the most out of the soft early evening light.
Wardrobe as location should be well thought out as it has a strong impact on the overall feel of your pictures. I have prepared some general tips and examples of clothing combinations that work well. Please check out The Way I Work page.
Based on your clothing choices I then carefully select your props making sure all elements match. Props play an important role in the photo session as they not only keep your children busy and interested but also add some character to your images and create a story.
